नेपाल में माउंट एवरेस्ट क्षेत्र से विदेशी पर्यटकों को लेकर उड़ान भरने वाला एक हेलीकॉप्टर मंगलवार को लापता हो गया था, उसके बारे में अब खबर है, कि हेलीकॉप्टर हादसे का शिकार हो गया है।
लापता हेलीकॉप्टर का मलबा मिला
नेपाल के खोजी दल ने दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हेलीकॉप्टर का मलबा बरामद कर लिया है। वहीं, सभी 6 लोगों के शव बरामद कर लिए गये हैं। कोशी प्रांत पुलिस के डीआइजी राजेशनाथ बस्तोला ने एएनआई को बताया, ”ग्रामीणों ने पांच शव बरामद कर लिए हैं।”
पुलिस ने प्रारंभिक जांच के बाद बताया है, कि ऐसा लगता है कि हेलीकॉप्टर पहाड़ी की चोटी पर किसी पेड़ से टकरा गया था।
आपको बता दें, कि हेलीकॉप्टर पांच विदेशी पर्यटकों को दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट एवरेस्ट की सैर पर ले जा रहा था और मंगलवार सुबह राजधानी काठमांडू लौट रहा था। हवाई अड्डे के अधिकारी सागर काडेल ने कहा, कि मौसम की स्थिति के कारण हेलीकॉप्टर के उड़ान मार्ग में बदलाव करना पड़ा था।
सागर काडेल के मुताबिक, भारी बारिश के बीच मानसून के मौसम में उड़ानों में देरी होना और मार्ग बदलना आम बात है। वहीं, संपर्क टूटने के बाद से ही हेलीकॉप्टर को लेकर आशंकाएं जताई जा रही थीं। सबसे पहले दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हेलीकॉप्टर के बारे में ग्रामीणों को पता चला और फिर प्रशासन को उसकी जानकारी दी गई।
पर्यटन और पर्वतारोहण का मौसम मई में बारिश के मौसम की शुरुआत के साथ समाप्त हो गया है और साल के इस समय पहाड़ों के लिए पर्यटक उड़ानें आम नहीं हैं, क्योंकि दृश्यता कम हो जाती है और मौसम की स्थिति अप्रत्याशित हो जाती है।
काठमांडू पोस्ट अखबार ने नेपाल नागरिक उड्डयन प्राधिकरण के सूचना अधिकारी ज्ञानेंद्र भुल के हवाले से बताया कि हेलीकॉप्टर ने सुबह 9:45 बजे सोलुखुम्बु के सुरकी से राजधानी काठमांडू के लिए उड़ान भरी थी। हिमालयन टाइम्स अखबार ने एक सूत्र के हवाले से कहा कि इसे वरिष्ठ कैप्टन चेत गुरुंग चला रहे थे।
